Here you’ll find quick answers to the most common questions about Ace Golf Bar & Lounge — from how to leagues work and where to park.

  • What are your hours?
    Our open, kitchen, and peak-time hours change by season. Click the link below for our current schedule and rates.
    Do you charge per person to golf?
    We do not! The booking fee covers all guests - however, we do charge an 20% auto-gratuity for groups of 6 or more.
    What are your on-peak and off-peak hours?
    Our on-peak and off-peak hours change with the season. Off-peak hours offer lower rates during quieter times, while on-peak hours apply during our busiest periods — typically evenings and weekends. Check the link below for our current schedule and rates.
  • Where can I park?
    There is street parking available on Pape Avenue and Eastern Avenue. Please be considerate of our neighbours and utilize the paid parking lot located at 65 Heward Ave, Toronto (max $10 per day).
    Where is the entrance door?
    Our sliding doors face Pape Avenue. Please press the button to open the doors.
  • Do I need to bring my own golf clubs?
    If you have your own set of clubs, feel free to bring them along! If not, no worries—we provide complimentary club sets upon arrival (limited to one set per bay). IMPORTANT: Please ensure all personal golf equipment is thoroughly cleaned of mud, dirt, sand, and grass before use in our facility to prevent potential damage to the turf and screens.
    Is there a dress code?
    Dress comfortably for your visit! We keep a casual and vibey atmosphere.
    Do I need to wear golf shoes?
    You don’t need golf shoes to play. Sneakers or any flat, non-slip shoes are great for comfort and safety. We ask that guests avoid heels or slippery soles, as they can damage the turf and affect balance during your swing.
    Do I need to wear golf gloves?
    Golf gloves are optional, but many players wear them for better grip and control, and to reduce friction during play. If you’d like to try one, gloves are available for purchase.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
    Walk-ins are always welcome, but we highly recommend booking ahead to guarantee a bay — especially during the indoor golf season when outdoor courses are closed. If you’re planning a last-minute visit, feel free to call us at (647) 619-8588 to check bay availability.
    What happens if I'm late or don't show up for my reservation?
    Reservations are held for a 15-minute grace period. If no notice is given via phone or email, the reservation will be canceled without refund. This policy is strictly enforced during peak hours. Refunds are not provided for missed bookings, including those due to errors in selecting the date or time. We may offer credit for future use. This credit is discretionary and will not be extended in cases of inappropriate or disrespectful behaviour toward our staff.
    What is the cancellation policy?
    Bookings may be cancelled, at no charge, via our booking website, email, or phone call 48 hours prior to the start of the booking (“Cancellation Period”). Once the Cancellation Period has completed, the reservation is final and no modifications or changes are allowed. Refunds or credit, if applicable, will be issued at the sole discretion of Ace Golf Bar and Lounge.

    What are the food and drink options?
    Our menu includes a café, bánh mì sandwiches for lunch, modern Asian bar bites menu for dinner service, and a full bar with draft beer, cocktails, and several non-alcoholic options.
    Can I make a table reservation?
    Feel free to walk-in for food or drinks anytime, no reservation required! Currently, we do not take table reservations for our dine-in area. For large groups or private bookings, please submit an event inquiry.
    Which diet restrictions and food allergies can you accommodate?
    We’re a nut-free kitchen with a range of options for different dietary needs. We offer gluten-friendly, halal, pork-free, vegan, and vegetarian dishes. Please note: while gluten-friendly options are available, we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination. These dietary markers and more are listed on our menu.
  • Do you welcome kids?
    All ages are welcome to our space! For golf, we have free golf club rentals for children 4 and up!
    Do you have lessons and programmes for kids?
    Yes, we offer kids’ golf programs and lessons from time to time. Check What's Happening for upcoming Golf with Kids PA Days, or contact one of our Ace Coaches to inquire about private lessons for kids.
    Can we book a kids birthday party?
    Yes! Our facilities can be a great spot for kids’ birthday parties for ages 7 and up. Please note that certain parameters and restrictions apply to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Fill our event inquiry form and our event coordinator will get back to you with more details.
    Can I bring in a child stroller?
    Absolutely! We’re stroller-friendly, with accessible washrooms with change tables on the same level for your convenience.
    Do you have change tables for infants/toddlers?
    Yes we do, located in our accessibility washroom on the same floor.
  • Are washrooms wheelchair accessible?
    Yes! Our facility is wheelchair accessible, with washrooms on the same floor as our dining and golfing areas.
    Do you have gendered washrooms?
    We have single-stall washrooms with signage for men, women, and all genders.
    Can I bring my service dog?
    We’re happy to welcome service dogs in our venue. Please be prepared to show documentation by our team.
  • How many guests can I invite?
    Up to 6 guests per General or Semi-Private Bay, and 20 guests in the VIP Bay. There is a maximum of booking 2 bays per group. Larger groups require an event booking. For a full venue buy-out our capacity is 150+ guests.
    What are the minimums for booking the VIP Bay?
    On Fridays and Saturdays after 4 PM, the VIP Bay requires 6 guests minimum and a $40 per guest food & beverage spend (+20% auto-gratuity). No minimums apply at other times.
    Can all 20 guests play in the VIP Bay?
    Yes — but not all at once. The VIP Bay can host up to 20 guests total, but only 8 players can take turns to swing per game. If all 20 guests want to play, we recommend creating 3 smaller groups of 6–7 players — each group can play a mini-game while the others queue or lounge between rounds.
    Can I book 3 bays with two different accounts?
    No, doing so violates our Terms of Service. Bookings made under separate accounts to bypass booking limits may be cancelled without notice or refund. These limits exist to ensure a safe, fair, and well-coordinated experience for both our guests and our team. Ace Golf Bar & Lounge reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking that does not adhere to our policies, at our discretion.
    Why can't I book two semi-private bays for my group?
    Semi-Private Bays are on opposite ends of the space and cannot be paired for a group experience.
    Why are event bookings more expensive than regular bookings?
    Event bookings follow a different service model than regular bay bookings — and therefore a different pricing model. Regular bookings are designed for single-bay play. You can reserve up to two bays (out of six total) for groups of up to 12 players. Food and drinks are served through our standard ticket system (first to order, first served), creating a relaxed, individual bay experience. This model allows for billing per bay only (no single check across multiple bays) and includes a 15-minute late policy before the reservation is released. Event bookings, on the other hand, involve coordinating three or more bays at once — with three bays considered a half-venue private buyout. Our event service model is built for shared group experiences, where guests can mingle between bays, enjoy tournament-style play, and track progress on group leaderboards. This model includes a single payment check and bays held for the full duration of your reserved time, offering larger groups more flexibility if some guests arrive late. The two pricing models reflect the space allocation, service level, and type of experience offered.
    Can I bring a cake, or other outside food and drink?
    We don’t allow outside food or drinks. However, if you're celebrating a special occasion and you’d like to bring a cake or dessert, a $20 dessert fee will apply. For 750ml bottles of wine, we have a $40 corkage fee. For the safety of all guests, we maintain a strictly nut-free kitchen, and any desserts brought into the venue must comply with this policy.

    What are the event booking add-on options?
    We provide an extensive list of event booking add-on's such as: customized menu or drink, audio-visual set up for presentations or live DJ, branded signage in the space, decor set up support, golf tournaments and leader boards, security, coat check, coaching or lessons, and much more! For more details, ask to get a quote.
  • Do I need to bring my own clubs?
    Nope! We have Haywood Golf rentals available on-site — just let us know if you’ll need a set.
    Can I get a refund if I miss one week or need to cancel my spot?
    MEN'S LEAGUE Refunds are not provided for individually missed or cancelled dates. However, your spot is yours for the entire season — if you can’t attend one week, you’re welcome to transfer it to another golfer. Please review all dates carefully before booking. IRON LADY GOLF Because we reserve simulator and course space in advance, refunds are not provided for individually missed or cancelled dates. However, your spot is yours for the season—you’re welcome to transfer it to another female golfer if you can’t attend. Please review dates carefully before booking.
    What if I don't have a golf partner?
    MEN'S LEAGUE We’ll prioritize registration for duos, but if there’s space available for single sign-ups, we’ll pair you with another golfer. Don’t worry — we’ll make sure you’re matched with someone who’s there for the same fun, social vibe. IRON LADY GOLF LEAGUE No partner needed.
    Can we arrive early to warm up?
    MEN'S LEAGUE Please arrive on time — bay access begins at 8:00 PM sharp and ends at 10:00 PM sharp. You’re more than welcome to arrive early to grab a drink or hang out at the bar, but warm-up time in the bays isn’t available before 8 PM. IRON LADY GOLF LEAGUE Please arrive on time — bay access begins at 5:00 PM sharp and ends at 7:00 PM sharp. You’re more than welcome to arrive early to grab a drink or hang out at the bar, but warm-up time in the bays isn’t available before 5 PM.
    What happens if I can't show up one week?
    MEN'S LEAGUE Your league spot belongs to you for the full season, but if you can’t make it one week, you’re welcome to send a guest in your place. Please email us at info@acegolfbar.ca ahead of time to let us know. It’s your responsibility to ensure your guest understands the expectations and vibe of the session. IRON LADY GOLF LEAGUE Because we reserve simulator and course space in advance, refunds are not provided for individually missed or cancelled dates. However, your spot is yours for the season—you’re welcome to transfer it to another female golfer if you can’t attend. Please review dates carefully before booking.
    What's the Code of Conduct?
    We ask all guests to respect our staff, other guests, and our space. Please follow staff directions and safety rules. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, outside food or drinks, drugs, smoking indoors, and property damage are not allowed. Anyone who violates these rules may be asked to leave.
  • Do you sell gift cards?
    Yep! You can purchase gift cards online. Both top-ups and new gift cards can be purchased through our booking software.
    Can gift cards be used for food and drink?
    Gift cards can only be redeemed for golf time, not food or beverages.
    Can I purchase gift cards in person at your location?
    Unfortunately, gift cards can't be purchased in person at Ace Golf Bar at this time. They are available exclusively online through our booking software.
    Do you have a physical version of the gift cards?
    Our gift cards are exclusively e-gift cards, as we currently do not offer physical gift cards.
    How do I send a gift card to someone?
    As long as the recipient has an account set up in our online booking system, you can easily send them the e-gift card. When you buy a gift card on our booking site, you'll be emailed a special code that you can redeem or send to a friend!
